Like others who were relocated to the remotely located resettlement colony of Savda Ghevra, Sudhma struggled to build a permanent shelter for her family and seek basic infrastructure services like water, sanitation and electricity. With the onset of MHT-SEWA’s work in the settlement, Sushma found herself to be more informed. Equipped with knowledge and agency, she led the way in ensuring the installation of streetlights and regular cleaning of drains.
