Kanchan ben is a board member of Karnabhumi and associated with Bihar Credit Cooperative. She is a self reliant farmer and sells vegetables as well. She owns a smart phone that was provided to her through Karnabhumi and regularly uses organic manure for her crops. She claims that using organic manure has given her good results and better market rates than usual. She has been able to adopt digital literacy and is able to run her business online as well. She supports SEWA by providing photographs from the field and more.
