Fellowships at SEWA Bharat
SEWA Bharat partners with potential organizations offering fellowship programs in the development sector. As a partner non-profit, SEWA Bharat provides fellows opportunities to work closely at the grassroots with the communities to bring social change. It gives them the space to turn their ideas into actions as they propose, design and implements their projects across the different thematic areas where the organization works. As a fellow, an individual gets the chance to take up a valued role within SEWA Bharat and contribute to one of the largest movements for women in the informal economy.
In the past, SEWA Bharat has partnered with the International Innovation corps, India Fellow, and Transforming India Initiative. It is currently in partnership with SBI Youth for India Fellowship program, a 13-month long immersion that enables youth to work on rural development projects. If you are an organization that conducts fellowship programs and would like to partner with SEWA Bharat, then connect with us at anohita@sewabharat.org
SEWA Bharat Fellowship
Over the last 5 years, SEWA Bharat has been welcoming young professionals: college-educated individuals in their 20s, who are motivated to work in the development sector and with women in the informal economy. We have had interns, full-time employees, and fellows from several programs (IIC, India fellowship, Gandhi fellows, SBI fellowship) join our team in fulfilling our vision.
